We’re delighted to announce the Irish Steam Sale, a week-long digital showcase celebrating games made in Ireland, by Irish developers around the world, and games shaped by Irish creative talent and culture. The event will run on Steam during St Patrick’s Day 2026, 13th March - 20th March, spotlighting the breadth and success of Ireland’s growing games industry for a global audience.
The Irish Steam Sale is an IMIRT-led initiative, developed in collaboration with Irish developers and studios worldwide. St Patrick’s Day is Ireland’s most visible cultural moment worldwide. The Irish Steam Sale uses that moment to showcase the creativity, diversity, and commercial success of Irish game development - at home and across the diaspora.
If you want to be included in the Irish Steam Sale, we have a full guide ready for you explaining how you can take part, eligibility criteria, event guidelines, information packets on discounts and marketing, as well as all key dates and deadlines.
You can find that here. We’ll be running information sessions to answer any and all questions, and we’ll be releasing and updating an FAQ after these sessions end.
