Interactive Music Designer and Composer

In 2023, Helen joined the music team for Neill Blomkamp's film adaptation for Gran Turismo by contributing additional sonic sound and music design to the film's composed soundtrack, alongside video game composers Joris De Man, The Flight, Austin Wintory, Jason Graves, and Lena Raine. This culminated with a roundtable interview for an episode of Scoreheads, which can be viewed here:

Some of Helen's other projects include:

  • Scoring a video game for Altered Gene, entitled Mash-Quito, on behalf of U2/ Bono's charity ONE(dot)org. This game was created to raise awareness against the dangers of malaria.

  • Meeting His Parents (Short film), which was screened at film festivals, including but not limited to, The Rhode Island International Film Festival, where it won the 'Alternative Spirit Award'.

  • Night Swimming (Short film), which was selected for the Montréal Independent Film Festival and also selected and nominated for awards at Los Angeles International Film Festival, Waterford Film Festival, Indie X Film Festival, and more.

  • Performing in orchestras for classical crossover artists such as Katherine Jenkins, Il Divo, and Jose Carreras and under the baton of conductors such as Eimear Noone, Neil Thomson, Anthony Inglis, and Lev Parikian.

Helen is a proud member of  The Screen Composers Guild of Ireland, and BAFTA. In addition to her work, Helen also enjoys audio mentoring for Game Jams and is actively involved in IMIRT (The Irish Game Makers Association).
