Games Conferences

Even with online events and streaming, conferences remain an essential part of the game development and publishing business. If you are a developer looking to promote your game or a publisher looking for new titles, conferences are the ideal venue for deals to be done. With large numbers of games released on a daily basis, it is becoming increasingly difficult to get your game noticed …by anyone. The bigger conferences, such as GamesCon, are unique in that you have all the major players from games press, PR, publishing and development attending the one event. If you want to get the word out about your new game, you need to attend conferences and events.

Most countries have local and national gaming events and they are useful for smaller developers looking to grow their community. AAA developers and publishers will concentrate on the large international conference as they have the resources and media contacts to promote their games at those hectic events.

Some of the main conferences include:

GDC – Game Developer Conference

GamesCon
